Prof. Maxim A. Pugachevskii is the Director of Regional Center of Nanotechnology and a professor in Department of Nanotechnology, Microelectronics, and General and Applied Physics at Southwest State University. He holds Dr. in physics and the academic title of Professor. His research focuses on synthesis of advanced materials based on oxide nanoparticles enriched with functional defects for biomedical applications, including radioprotection, photodynamic therapy, and the creation of new antioxidants. He defended PhD dissertation at Institute of Materials Science of Russian Academy of Sciences in 2006, then Dr. degree (full professor) at Far Eastern State Transport University in 2015. Prof. Pugachevskii has authored over 500 publications, including over 20 articles in Q1 WOS&Scopus journals, and holds patents for innovative nanomaterial synthesis and medical systems. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards for young scientists. As experienced professor and international collaborator, he continues pioneering research in nanotechnology for healthcare and industry.
